Leroy Merlin continues to take steps in the energy transition of its stores, making them more efficient. Through a partnership with Helexia, the Matosinhos store now has a solar Carport producing clean and renewable energy for self-consumption in this northern store. This energy production project has an installed power of 331 kWp and an estimated annual production of 448 MWh.
With Carport solar, Leroy Merlin protects its customers' vehicles from weather conditions such as rain or high temperatures, while ensuring the supply of green energy without CO2 emissions, thereby reducing energy bills and saving the planet's resources. This project will avoid the emission of about 211 tons of CO2 per year, the equivalent of planting 3400 trees annually.

Helexia has been and will be our partner in the energy transition of our buildings, because for us it makes sense to start with our own House. The work we have been doing is a true partnership, based on a very close knowledge of the needs and mutual capabilities of both companies, knowledge that was gained over the time of the relationship.
