RGCEST

Energy Consumption Management Regulation for the Transport Sector

The Energy Consumption Management Regulation for the Transport Sector makes it mandatory for energy intensive companies - more than 500 toe/year - to conduct energy audits (EA) and to carry out an energy consumption rationalization plan (PRCE) within a three year period, with the goal of reducing energy intensity.

To whom does RGCEST apply

The RGCEST Energy Audits apply to transport companies or companies with their own fleet that are Energy Intensive Consumers (EIEC), i.e. that have an annual fuel consumption of 500 toe (tonne oil equivalent) or more.

This audit should result in an energy consumption rationalization plan (PRCE), which identifies potential energy saving measures.

Advantages of RGCEST auditing

Identify opportunities to reduce costs and CO2 emissions
Optimizing the fleet's energy consumption
