Narc Frutas: More sustainable fruit with photovoltaic energy

Through a partnership with Narc fruits, Helexia installed a 317 kWp photovoltaic plant on the roof of the building, capable of producing 470MWh of energy per year.

Narc Frutas is thus able to produce part of its own energy - a much-needed resource in its facilities due to its storage capacity of around 7500 tons of fruit in cold storage.

This project with Helexia allows the company to produce clean, renewable energy, thus avoiding about 212 tons of CO2 annually, the equivalent of planting 5400 trees a year.

The major benefits of this partnership are reduced energy bill costs, less dependence on the grid and a smaller carbon footprint.

In addition to these advantages, another great benefit is the appreciation of the property.

Helexia was present throughout the entire value chain of this project, from design, development and implementation to investment.

This project benefited from Helexia's investment of around €300,000 for a 15-year contract. This allows Narc Frutas to maintain strategic investments in its core business and enjoy a stable and competitive energy price throughout the term of the contract.
