DPD chose Helexia to implement a new, more efficient lighting system by replacing the old luminaires with LEDs in its facilities. This project has led to a 68% energy reduction in DPD's lighting systems.
The company's Guarda facilities had an energy consumption of 35 MWh/year and reduced it to 11 MWh/year with LED technology. This represents annual savings of €2,000 per year.
