The electric vehicle market in Portugal is growing and as more people adopt electric vehicles, the availability of charging stations is an important consideration for those planning to travel by car.

Opened in June 2017, the West Cliffs Golf Course, designed by American Cynthia Dye, is the first in Portugal and Europe by this designer. It had already garnered several mentions and was the highest new entry (25th place) to the ranking of the "Top 100 Courses" in Continental Europe.

Besides a golf course, West Cliffs is also a five-star resort by the sea, which includes a 230-hectare property, including 261 residential plots. Everything was designed in an integrated way with the landscape, in harmony with the environment and maintaining the sustainability of the local ecosystem. The golf course is managed by Praia D'El Rey, of the Marriott group.

West Cliffs with Electric Mobility

Who arrives by electric vehicle has at its disposal six 22 kW normal, with connection to the national network. The installation was carried out by SISINT, an entity specialized in engineering projects. This is a turnkey project in which the entire operation (monitoring and maintenance) of the chargers is ensured by Helexia.

The West Cliffs is a 5-star tourist complex, whose architectural concept was designed by the internationally renowned architectural studio Sua Kay. Occupying an area of 230 hectares, harmoniously integrated with the natural landscape, between dunes and coastal vegetation, interspersed by areas of pine forest and exclusive views of the Atlantic and Óbidos Lagoon, this luxury tourist complex has 268 lots that will translate into 659 accommodation units and 2,906 beds, supported by a wide range of equipment and services. 

With Helexia developed a project that incorporated 6 normal 22 KW chargers. This way, West Cliff customers can now comfortably charge their electric vehicles because this vacation resort is already thinking about its customers who are concerned about electric mobility and the planet.
