Main Responsibilities
Perform various project management functions, including establishing work plans, scheduling, administering and summarizing meetings, assigning and tracking tasks, managing change requests, developing status reports, and tracking and managing budget and finances.
Coordinate internal and external activities related to the development, launch and oversight of pilot and demonstration projects, such as the evaluation of new technologies and services, marketing campaigns and events, and various other initiatives.
Manage the development, administration and reporting on projects within the portfolio.
Oversee implementation vendors and other contractors to ensure all requirements are met according to internal and external guidelines and commitments.
Keep up to date with current trends in energy efficiency, innovation, new technologies, and demand response.
Work with various teams within and outside the Energy Efficiency department to ensure optimal design and implementation deliverables.
Pre-sales engineering responsibilities and implementation support for energy efficiency projects.
Maintain a positive, mutually beneficial and lasting business relationship with companies, professional groups and industry stakeholders in support of Ewen and Helexia's overall energy efficiency objectives
Valued Skills
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in the energy sector (preferred)
Experience in similar roles will be an asset
Relevant knowledge and technical training in the areas of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer are essential for mechanical engineers, and will be valued for electrical engineers
Relevant knowledge and technical experience in the areas of energy quality, industrial control, instrumentation and power control (VSD's) are a must for electrical engineers and will be valued for mechanical engineers
Ability to participate effectively in teams and collaborate at a cross-functional level
Ability to assess and set priorities for self and others, demonstrate flexibility and understand/communicate a sense of urgency
Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving skills and proven decision-making ability
Proactive profile and strong initiative
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Analytical, planning and organizational skills
Strong customer and results orientation
Creativity and ability to adapt to new scenarios
Fluency in spoken and written English (required), French is an advantage.
Willingness to travel abroad for short periods of time
