PepsiCo Portugal

pepsico customer helexia

PepsiCo has been present in Portugal since 1972, when it introduced the 7UP brand in the Portuguese market. Later, in 1987, the company acquired Laprovar, owner of the Pála-Pála potato brand, further consolidating its position in the country. Today it is responsible for the marketing of several brands such as Pepsi, Lipton Ice Tea, Gatorade, Lay's, Ruffles and Doritos.

Beyond its business operations, PepsiCo also has a strong commitment to sustainability. In this commitment to the environment, Pepsico has chosen Helexia to help it implement a 6-charger electric mobility project at its Carregado plant. In the future, and also with Helexia, it will implement a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption.

These investments are part of PepsiCo's goals to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by more than 40 percent by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2040.
